Even though i didn't make any surveys, i did quite a few, and noticed that the questions asked were normally "Are you close to your grandparents?" "Do you enjoy being with your grandparents?"
Sounds interesting.
I love being with my grandma, but i hardly have any time, with all that school work and more work outside to make up for my atrocious spending power, i have hardly any time to go visit her. She sold her house, and is now staying with relatives randomly every few days. So it's quite hard to meet her without at least a few days advance notice.
So actually, interest and generation gap aside, time management is an important factor. People are always so busy with work, they forget that their family is much more important, and they can be gone soon if you don't treasure them.
Even my parents and sister have been complaining i spend too much time in school and at work. I can't help but agree.
So what is the solution to this problem?
I can't say lighten school's workload nor increase my salary.
I guess we need to have a fixed "family day" holiday? Maybe once every fortnight. Yeah that'd be good.
-Sigh- So little time, so much to do.
I doubt it would be very useful even if we had that national family day thing.
I bet there's still people working their butts off, with recession and crap like taxes and bills going up.
Can't believe i can't even find time to have a meal with my family already.
And yeah, partially its my fault as well for doing my work so slow and stuff D:
