i have came out with the two ideas for the exercise 1:
The first one is to plan a carnival which includes sports games and board games, these are all interactive games. And the second one is to organize an excursion outing for both the young and the old.
For the first idea, a carnival with interactive games will allow the young and the old to play together. When playing, people tend to interact more and through this verbal communication, they start to understand each other better. Thus, bonding begins to take place. Furthermore, it helps people to relax, challenge their minds and learn to think logically. According to Claudia M. Lenart, “One of the most researched board games is chess. There have been numerous studies touting the academic benefits of chess playing. Studies have found that playing chess increases reading performance, math ability and IQ.”
As for the second idea, an excursion outing can let you have hands-on, real world experiences, it improve the quality of education and motivates you towards the subject. Not forgetting the improvement of the socialization between young children and the elderly. Therefore, this can promote the bonding between the two age groups.

oh no, i think a lot of people doing on carnival...

these are from my proposal.
